Pub Scrims Policy Overview

In the competitive world of pub scrims, integrity and fair play are paramount. To maintain a level playing field, we have established a strict policy regarding the use of adapters that facilitate cheating. Certain adapters and tools have gained notoriety for their ability to provide unfair advantages, such as macros or aimbots. The use of these devices not only undermines the spirit of competition but also jeopardizes the integrity of the tournaments. Therefore, players are strictly prohibited from using any banned adapters or similar devices during scrims and tournament matches. Any player found using these adapters will face immediate disqualification from the event and may be subject to further sanctions.

Banned Adapters and Tools

The following devices are explicitly banned from use during scrims and tournaments. Using any of these tools will result in penalties, including disqualification:

1. Cronus Zen - This device allows users to apply and customize scripts that provide unfair advantages, such as enhanced aim, one-tap rolls, anti-spread, rapid-fire functionality, and more. Its widespread use in shooters makes it a major threat to competitive integrity.

2. Titan One - Like the Cronus Zen, the Titan One supports various scripts that can manipulate game inputs and automate actions. It enables players to bypass skill-based mechanics through pre-programmed macros.

3. Titan Two - An advanced version of the Titan One, it features even more powerful scripting capabilities, including Bluetooth support and keyboard/mouse passthrough. Its ability to simulate human-like input precision makes it a significant threat to fair play.

4. Brook Wingman Series - This adapter enables the use of a keyboard and mouse or Xbox controllers on consoles, which can give players an unfair competitive edge. It circumvents platform-specific input restrictions and allows for hybrid setups.

5. Mouse and Keyboard - As these peripherals are generally more precise than a traditional controller, their use in environments designed for controller play can skew competitive balance. Players gain superior tracking, flicking, and movement control.

6. X-Arcade Adapter Kit - This device allows players to use arcade sticks, potentially giving them an uninhibited range of motion and input speed. It can exploit movement tech and cancel windows in ways that standard controllers cannot replicate.

7. PS Remote Play (PC or Mobile) - Utilizing this service can enable the employment of macros and aimbots that automate gameplay actions, making it a source of unfair skill enhancement. It opens the door to PC-based overlays and third-party cheat injection.

8. Strike Pack - A plug-and-play mod pack for controllers that includes rapid-fire, drop shot, and anti-recoil features. It allows players to gain modded behavior without jailbreaking or scripting, often used to mask cheating in casual lobbies.

9. Hori Tactical Assault Commander (TAC) - A keyboard/mouse adapter for PlayStation. Due to the precision advantage it provides over analog sticks, it is banned.

10. Collective Minds FPS Dominator – A controller mod that attaches directly to the DualShock or DualSense and enables rapid-fire, auto-run, and drop-shot features. It provides mechanical advantages without requiring software mods, making it difficult to detect.

11. ReaSnow S1 – A cross-platform input adapter that supports keyboard/mouse, macros, and controller remapping. Its ability to mimic controller input while using PC-grade peripherals makes it a high-risk tool in competitive environments.

12. GamePack Scripts (via any adapter) – Pre-configured mod scripts that automate recoil control, aim assist, and movement exploits. These scripts are often shared online and can be loaded into devices like Cronus or Titan, giving players a plug-and-play cheat system.

13. Mayflash Magic-S Pro – A multi-platform adapter that allows the use of any controller (including keyboard/mouse) on PS4 and PS5. It supports turbo and remap functions, which can be exploited for rapid-fire and input automation.

14. Besavior PS5 Controller Adapter – A mod-friendly adapter that allows full access to PS5 controller internals, enabling custom scripts and macros. It’s often used in fighting games but can be repurposed for shooters and movement exploits.

15. GIMX Adapter – A DIY-style adapter that bridges PC and console inputs, allowing players to use keyboard/mouse or scripted macros through a PC interface. It’s highly customizable and can simulate controller input with precision.

16. KeyMander 2 – A keyboard/mouse adapter for consoles that includes macro support and input remapping. It’s marketed for accessibility but can be abused for competitive gain in controller-only lobbies.

17. Collective Minds FPS Dominator – A controller mod that attaches directly to DualShock or DualSense and enables rapid-fire, auto-run, and drop-shot features. It provides mechanical advantages without requiring software mods, making it harder to detect.

18. XIM Apex – A high-performance keyboard/mouse adapter that translates PC input into controller signals. It’s widely used in competitive shooters and gives players mouse-level precision while appearing as a controller to the game.

19. Hori Tac Pro M2 – A licensed keyboard/mouse adapter with built-in profiles for popular shooters. Despite its legal status, it’s banned in controller-only scrims due to the precision advantage it offers.

20. Console Tuner CM – A legacy adapter similar to Titan One, used to load Gamepacks and scripts. Though less common now, it still supports modded input and macro injection.

Consequences of Cheating

Our policy aims to ensure that all players compete on an even playing field. If a player is suspected of using a banned adapter or cheating tool, they may be subjected to immediate scrutiny. This can involve being removed from a tournament match or being required to demonstrate their play through console cam or handcam during scrims. If you are asked to cam and agree to do so, you will be welcomed to continue participating in the tournament. This measure not only helps to maintain fairness but also reinforces transparency during competitive play.

However, failure to comply with a cam request can have significant consequences. A refusal to provide visual confirmation of your gameplay setup can result in a lengthy suspension from all future tournaments, potentially lasting multiple seasons. This is to ensure that any form of cheating is dealt with decisively and that those who adhere to the rules are protected.

In conclusion, all players must familiarize themselves with this Adapter Policy and adhere strictly to its conditions. Cheating not only harms the competitive integrity of our scrims but also affects the community and player trust. We encourage every participant to respect the rules and competition to ensure an enjoyable and equitable experience for everyone involved.

Modification Policy Overview

In competitive gaming, ensuring a fair and respectful environment is key. Whether participating in casual matches or high-stakes competitions, players are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the integrity of the game. This policy outlines unacceptable behaviors that can lead to permanent bans and potential legal consequences.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following actions are strictly prohibited in any part of pub scrims:

1. DDoSing: Engaging in Distributed Denial of Service attacks, or any activity intended to disrupt players' connectivity or the game environment. Such actions not only undermine the competition but can also have significant legal ramifications.

2. Hacking Accounts: Unauthorized access to another player’s account, whether through phishing, exploitation of vulnerabilities, or other means, is strictly forbidden. This includes manipulation of game data or player statistics.

3. Doxxing: The act of researching and publicly exposing private or personal information about another player is a severe violation. This behavior can lead to real-world harassment and is completely intolerable within our community.

4. Threats and Harassment: Any form of intimidation, threats, or harassment aimed at players, teams, or officials is unacceptable. This includes any comments or actions that could incite fear or create a hostile environment for others.

5. Scams: Engaging in fraudulent behavior to deceive others for personal gain, whether through merchandise, trades, or any other means, will lead to immediate disqualification and possible legal action.

6. In-Game Exploits: Utilizing glitches, bugs, or unintended features that provide an unfair advantage falls under unacceptable behavior. Players are encouraged to report such issues instead of using them in gameplay.

7. Spreading Misinformation: Promoting false information about opponents, teams, or the games themselves to manipulate perceptions or create unfair advantages is not tolerated.

Consequences of Violation

Any violation of the above policies will result in a thorough investigation. Depending on the severity of the offence, consequences can include:

Permanent Ban: Players found guilty of engaging in any of the aforementioned behaviors will receive a lifetime ban from all scrims and associated events.

Legal Action: Severe breaches, particularly those involving hacking, doxxing, or significant harassment, may result in legal scrutiny and action, including but not limited to contacting law enforcement agencies.

Removal from Teams: Teams found to be complicit in any of these actions may face disbandment or removal from competitions.

Reporting Mechanism

Players are encouraged to report any incidents or concerns regarding potential breaches of this policy. Reports can be filed anonymously through our designated communication channels, ensuring that action is taken and the integrity of our scrims is upheld.

Maintaining a safe and fair competitive environment is a collective responsibility. By adhering to these guidelines, all participants contribute to a positive gaming experience. Any behavior aimed at undermining this community will not be tolerated, and strict measures will be enacted to ensure fairness for all players. Let’s prioritize respectful conduct and uphold the spirit of competition in all our matches.
