Pub Scrims Policy
Community standards, conduct expectations, and tournament integrity guidelines
SECTION — 01
Community Standards
- All players are expected to treat opponents, teammates, and staff with respect at all times.
- Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory language of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct — including excessive trash talk, rage-quitting, or intentional sabotage — may result in disqualification.
- Disputes must be raised with tournament staff, not settled through in-game or Discord conflicts.
SECTION — 02
Fair Play & Cheating
- Zero tolerance for cheating. Any player caught using exploits, hacks, or unauthorized modifications will be immediately and permanently banned.
- Exploiting known game bugs during tournament play is prohibited unless explicitly permitted in the ruleset.
- Match manipulation, including intentional losses or coordinated collusion, will result in bans for all involved parties.
- Staff have final authority on all fair play rulings. Decisions are not subject to community vote.
SECTION — 03
Registration & Eligibility
- Players must be registered members of the Pub Scrims Discord to participate in any tournament.
- Each player may only compete for one team per tournament. Roster manipulation is prohibited.
- Tournament organizers reserve the right to verify player identities and accounts at any time.
- Players found to be smurfing or using alternate accounts may be disqualified and banned.
SECTION — 04
Match Scheduling & No-Shows
- Teams are responsible for scheduling their matches within the designated timeframe.
- A team that fails to appear within 10 minutes of the agreed match start time forfeits the match.
- Forfeits may be appealed only if documented technical issues or emergencies are reported to staff before the match window closes.
- Repeated no-shows may result in removal from future tournaments.
SECTION — 05
Streaming & Content
- Players are encouraged to stream and create content from Pub Scrims events.
- If you create content featuring Pub Scrims matches, please credit the community and consider sharing it in the Discord.
- Tournament broadcasts may be organized by staff — participants agree to appear in these streams as part of participation.
SECTION — 06
Staff Decisions & Appeals
- All tournament decisions made by Pub Scrims staff are final unless a formal appeal is submitted within 24 hours of the ruling.
- Appeals must be submitted via a designated staff channel in the Discord with evidence.
- Abusing the appeals process will result in loss of appeal privileges.
- Staff members are volunteers — treat them with the same respect you would any opponent.
SECTION — 07
Bans & Enforcement
- Violations of this policy may result in warnings, match forfeitures, tournament disqualifications, or permanent bans depending on severity.
- Banned players may not compete in any Pub Scrims or partner-hosted events.
- Ban appeals may be submitted after 90 days for non-cheating offenses. Cheating bans are permanent and non-negotiable.
